The Book of Lost Tales 1(The History of Middle-Earth, Vol. 1)

The Art of The Lord of the Rings by J.R.R. Tolkien

Tolkien often used drawings or sketches before he put words on paper. They guided him in his story and the development of it. This book, just like the number one on this list, is a book filled with a lot of the artwork that has never been seen before.

We recommend this work by Tolkien, because many people forget it about it when looking at his more famous books. This one, however, is comprised of five of his shorter stories. This is the classic we all know or heard of. If you haven’t read it yet, be sure not to miss this book that is in many people’s homes. If you have already seen the film series, it is still worth diving into the words that are printed on paper. It will feed your imagination.

Letters From Father Christmas

After doing some research, we find this book by Tolkien one of his most special and personal works. Every Christmas Tolkien’s children received a letter from Father Christmas, and in it he would write some of the most amazing stories from what had happened to him at the North Pole. Anyone can appreciate this gift, especially at the end of December.
